The hotel Allandale is situated in a Victorian house built in 1840. Allandale has 17 newly refurbished bedrooms. The owners bought it because they loved the building and its location. They have tried to recreate a Victorian home - hence just a few antiques - but with all modern conveniences of the 21st Century. Should you come to visit Allandale and leave feeling that it was attractive, comfortable, friendly and cosy, then the owner will have succeeded. The Allandale Hotel is presently owned by Richard Breen and Stephen Pearson, who bought the hotel in November 2004 from the family which had run it for 27 years. Richard and Stephen intend to maintain the personal, family atmosphere for the next 30 years!
