In December of 2002, Keir MacRae, Michael Schwarz and Ian Malcolm opened Fire on the East Side in an emerging downtown neighbourhood, just a skip south of Bloor-Yorkville and a nudge west of Toronto’s vibrant Church-Wellesley Village. Offering southern inspired cooking with a global flair, caring hospitality and comfortable surroundings, Fire on the East Side was a quick hit and continues to be an exceptional value. Menu: Led by Chef Elizabeth Baxter, Fire on the East Side prepares seasonal food with a Southern-inspired soul, using fresh ingredients. The menu is complemented by an extensive wine list with exceptional value including an outstanding selection of wines by the glass and with a choice of scrumptious house-made desserts created by Fire on the East Side Pastry Team. Fire on the East Side’s weekend brunch is considered to be one of the city’s best offerings.

 

Private Dinning:
Fire on the East Side has a sophisticated, yet comfortable, private dining space available for larger parties. The room can accommodate up to 45 people for a sit down function or up to 75 people for a cocktail party. Fire on the East Side’s Fly Lounge is a hip cocktail party space that can accommodate up to 150 people.
