Cannes Restaurant: Le Farfalla

Farfalla is a trendy bar and restaurant that is very popular and ideally located in Cannes.  

The stylish surroundings and hip-young-things mix quite comfortably with the just-walked-in tourists.  Currently, Farfalla is a mixture of silver, blue and seems to shimmer.  Upstairs it has a slightly more wooden feel, although still just as contemporary.  I say currently because as the name implies (it means butterfly) the decor is revamped on a regular basis.

In summer the front of the place is completely opened up to give it a feeling of space.  

The food is really quite good - with a special steak section of the menu that will delight all steak-lovers.

Farfalla has an enviable location - on the Croisette and right opposite the Palais des Festivals. 

This is a mixed crowd - but gays are made welcome and are often seen hanging out before the clubs hot up.
