This gay bar is a friendly spot in an intimidating city. Described by locals as one of the most standard gay bars, it offers the usual fun and frolics most gay venues do. Prices are very competitive, with 75 cent beers on Monday, $2 beer and free pool on Thursdays, and a busy karaoke night on Wednesdays. The bar is famed for its organic martinis (yes, apparently, a martini can be good for you) which are on offer on Saturday nights. In short, it’s nothing special or culturally enlightening, but it’s cheap, fun and friendly.
