Quirky indulgence pretty much sums up what Hazlitt’s is all about. The historic Georgian building, erected in 1818, presents travellers with the opportunity to mince about in its exquisitely preserved rooms, pretending to be a naughty London nobleman or some such historical fluff. The rooms are decked out in mahogany, silk curtains, antiques and enormous canopied beds.
