Welcome to anyway - youth centre in Cologne Here you will be able to get the most important information on anyway, the young people coming here and what we offer for you. Please only German or English ;-) anyway has been the first youth centre in this country specifically designed for young lesbians, gays and their friends between 12 and 25. Before, while or after your coming-out, this is your place to meet other gay boys and lesbian girls, to gain self-confidence, to exchange ideas, to get counselling or just pass some free time with nice people. We provide services to the lesbian and gay community and the general public in the prevention of HIV/AIDS. There is an café open to everyone. Apart from that we offer various groups on certain projects and free-time activities. We organise holiday trips, workshops and further training. Every year there are about 1,400 young visitors from Cologne and the wider area. Every second Friday of the month we offer a party particularly for lesbians, gays and their friends up to 27. It takes place in the Gloria with up to 1,400 guests on one evening. anyway is funded by Cologne City Council and the state of Northrhine-Westfalia and is officially recognised as an institution doing youth work (according to § 75 KJHG).
